Occupy the Grand Prix

The Baltimore Grand Prix is a waste of our money and a huge handout to corporations. It's just another instance of the city government continuing its policy of handing out money to developers and corporations while cutting funding for schools, recreation centers, and neighborhoods. They think public funds should go to the rich—we think they should go to our communities. On September 1st, join us in telling City Hall: Stop handouts to developers! End the Grand Prix! Money for schools, rec centers, and fire stations!

All that I have read concerning the Baltimore Grand Prix focuses on how it will benefit the private sector, big monied interests, and states nothing concernig benefits to the public sector. The grand prix is designed to benefit those who have as opposed to those who have not.
