Lila’s eviction is scheduled to take place between 10am and 12 noon. Come occupy Lila’s home or come rally with her to show solidarity. Take a stand against the injustice of predatory lending and corporate greed.

Baltimore has been particularly hard hit by the big banks’ predatory lending and fraudulent foreclosure practices. Now it is time to take a stand. As our first action, we will be helping Lila, a woman living on the West side of Baltimore, fight back against her eviction that is scheduled for January 10.

Is it Jui Fan-Lee Yang, who bought the property in 2005 and sold it in 2006 for a profit of $119,500? Is it Donald J. Ordakowski, Jr. or Henry Biegacz of the Baltimore American Mortgage Corporation, who made a $210,000 Adjustable-rate mortgage and a $52,000 balloon payment mortgage to Lila Kara? Is it Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, who bought the $210,000 mortgage for $140,000? It is the sheriff of Baltimore City for enforcing these contracts? The borrower has been in default, and the banks have been attempting to foreclose, since May 2009. What's the whole story?

You obviously have access to the public records, Lars. Yes, Jui Fan-Lee Yang (currently in the prison for using illegal immigrants paying them $0.50 daily in a restaurant on Charles street) purchased the property for $90 000 and less than a year later sold it to me for $252 000 to me. The big mortgage was $210 000 and NO BALLOON, but a second mortgage was created for me for $52 000. Someone with a nick "robcrow" mentioned under another post that "I SOLD to myself the property". I did not sold it to myself, it was an agent who sold it to me, I purchase it for myself. Who won from this sale was the Chinese lady, the BAMC, who gave me the mortgages and the lawyer who did the settlement. The HUD sheet the lawyer created it was a masterpiece. It was no line, where he could write a fee, that he missed! On every line - it was a fee, that I supposed to pay. First time in my life I saw a HUD sheet like that. After the time I found out that Baltimore city is poor city, there are not enough and quality jobs and the people are "greedy" everyone their own way, because they have to survive.
About the bank that you are sorry for Lars, because I did not pay for 3 years and they purchased the property for $140 000: Until Dec. 2009 I was paying every month close to $2000 monthly, So for 4 years payments I paid almost $96 000. And the Federal government gave them a big chunk of money, so THE HOUSE IS PAID IN FULL. They sacrificed only the interest they were expecting to have. This is why they wanted and purchased the house for $140 000. Do not forget they wrote down to my heritage a debt of $130 000. They(Deutsche bank) are in New York and this price($140 000, looks to them very low, if compare with NY prices). They hope to sell the house to the next stupid, as me, "agent", coming from another city, for $250 000 AGAIN, and at the next foreclosure they will sacrifice the interest again with pleasure. :-)
About the bank attempting to foreclose: One do not foreclose if they instruct the borrower to enter in default if they need a Modification. Also it is illegal to breach the contract between the bank and the borrower and instead to finish the work on the Modification, to start a foreclosure.
About the robo-signer they hired to enforce their illegal actions, I am not going even to discuss it. There are enough articles and you can read yourself, Lars.
