ORGANIZING at the INNER HARBOR - HYATT WORKERS with UNITE HERE tell their stories
Red Emma's Bookstore Coffeehouse
800 Saint Paul Street
Baltimore, Maryland 21218
Baltimore was once a thriving industrial city with a strong working class base. Today, Baltimore is built around tourism and the medical industry, where it is not unusual for a person to work two jobs just to get by. What has lead us to this point and what can we do as a community to take control of the direction and the movement of the city and our lives? Join us in a conversation lead by workers from the Hyatt Regency who have decided to take an active role in changing their workplace.
