Public Recreation Day

Occupy Baltimore and Schools Not Jails were together again on January 20, 2012 to hold "Public Recreation Day" at War Memorial Plaza in front of City Hall. Our partners in saving our recreation centers, Baltimore City Police Department, did not play nicely.

The Occupy members are coordinating the event with the Baltimore Algebra Project, a non-profit group that works to improve public education. The groups say money allocated for the jail should instead be spent on education and youth-recreation programs.

Can common people also participate in this day and contribute or do they have to become it's member?
